I am a mathematician with a keen interest in the structures of dynamical systems and the emergence of intelligence. I build tiny brains—not yet biological—by modeling dynamics. My primary affiliation is with the Machine Intelligence Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Roorkee, where I serve as a Post-Doctoral Researcher & Principal Investigator, specializing in symbolic systems and machine learning. My research on geometric deep learning is supported by the National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF) from Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). In a prior life, I was a researcher at IIT Delhi working on dynamical systems & Riemannian geometry. My work there earned me the prestigious SPM fellowship from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an accolade given to up to two national toppers annually. I hold a doctorate in symbolic systems and a master's degree in mathematics from IIT Delhi; and a bachelor's degree in data science from IIT Madras, all of which were funded by merit-based scholarships. I feel incredibly fortunate to have received these opportunities and remain deeply committed to contributing to these institutions. Having cracked IIT-JEE (now JEE Advanced) three years in a row, I spent over a decade teaching Mathematics and Physics for the exam, honing my ability to translate deep theory into clear, problem-solving narratives. Whether teaching students or training models, I rely on the same recipe—structure, feedback, and patience—to let intelligence emerge. Beyond academics, I am proficient in financial analysis and possess ambidextrous abilities, including touch typing and writing with both hands, as well as playing sports with both feet, which enhances my adaptability in various tasks. Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy bicycling, literature, and soccer.
